Åsa Larsson Blind
Has a Masters in Human Resources Management and Development, and has majored in Work and Organizational Psychology. She comes from a reindeerherding family. She is currently Project coordinator for Project Dievát, which is initiated by Saarivuoma, a saami reindeerherding community in north of Sweden. The project aims to formulate a management plan for the lands of Saarivuoma that is based on saami view of nature and saami traditional ecological knowledge.
She has previously been project manager for SámiDuodji, the national sámi handicraft organization in Sweden. She has also been working as Coordinator at the Department of Industry development at Kiruna district authority and administrator for reindeerherding issues at the Country administrative board in Umeå.
She has for the last ten years been dedicated in the work of saami organizations. She is a member of the Saami Council and a member of the board of Sámiid Riikkasearvi, the Sami national organization in Sweden (SSR)
