Owen Beaton
Owen Beaton (owenbeaton@dunelm.org.uk) is the Director of the Tandroy Conservation Trust (TCT), a UK-based charity working with the Tandroy people of southern Madagascar to promote sustainable development and conserve biodiversity. An Ecology graduate from Durham University, he founded TCT after returning from a research expedition to southern Madagascar in 2001. Together with a Malagasy management team, Owen oversaw the development of the Ifotaka Community Bungalow Project with a particular emphasis on local capacity building and ensuring the project was community based.
Owen Beaton (owenbeaton@dunelm.org.uk) est le directeur du Tandroy Conservation Trust, une organisation caritative dont le siège est au Royaume-Uni et qui travaille avec le peuple Antandroy dans le sud de Madagascar pour renforcer le développement durable et préserver la biodiversité régionale. Owen Beaton est diplômé en écologie de l’université de Durham.
