Kakuta Ole Maimai

Kakuta Ole Miamia, senior warrior from the Maasai community, is the Managing Director of Maasai Association. He founded the Maasai Association in 2001 when he graduated with a BA from The Evergreen State College in the United States. Kakuta also received a Masters degree in International Development from the School for International Training in the U.S. He was a warrior and wildlife specialist before he left for his studies in the United States. Each villager sold goats and cows to pay his tuition in America. In return, Kakuta has built the Merrueshi Primary School, an all Maasai primary school located in his community. Together with the villagers, they established the Maasai Warriors Camp for reasons to bring economic development to their local. Kakuta is the person to contact about your stay in the Maasai Warriors Camp.
