Nelissa Peralta
Nelissa Peralta has graduated in development studies and politics (University of Wales) and has recently finished a master degree writing a dissertation on the social impacts of ecotourism (University of Para). She has worked since 1999 in the Mamirauá Institute, a conservation NGO that co-manages the area. Today she is the ecotourism coordinator in the Mamiraua Institute for Sustainable Development working with local villages to develop ecotourism.
