Lois Peeler
Lois Peeler is an Aboriginal woman from the Yorta Yorta tribe. Lois has extensive experience in Aboriginal Affairs having worked at the community, corporate and public sector levels. Lois worked for sixteen years at a senior level within Federal and State Government departments managing Aboriginal Affairs. She is Chairperson of Aboriginal Tourism Australia (ATA) the national association for Indigenous tourism. ATA is at the cutting edge of the development, support and promotion of Indigenous cultural product. It has a number of field proven capacity building programs and has been integral in the establishment of recognised industry standards through the Respecting Our Culture Program.
