Elisabeth Fox
Elizabeth Fox is specialized in rural conservation (tourism) of cultural bio-diversity and journalism services. She completed her Masters in “Cultural-Linguistic Mediation” from the University of Rome, “La Sapienza”, Italy. During which time, she carried out field research in Bova the “capital village” the Graecanic Area, Calabria, in order to support the safeguarding of the minority culture, focus on agri-cultural and environmental issues of the Aspromonte National Park. There Elizabeth was hosted by the “San Leo” Cooperative and collaborated by shadowing their activities : heritage promotion, trekking, ‘widespread hospitality’, and sustainable tourism. On a free-lance basis she collaborates with the NGO Legambiente. Originally from rural Alabama, Elizabeth lives in Monterosso al Mare and currently works in the environmental field (international relations/communications) for the Cinque Terre National Park (Italy). elizabeth.fox@parconazionale5terre.it, elyfox@hotmail.com
