JAN WIGSTEN is Swedish and the co owner of Nomadic Journeys in Mongolia. He works from the office of Eco Tour Production Ltd. in Sweden and migrates out to Mongolia every summer, when operations are in full swing. Jan has worked in long haul travel since 1978, and came to out to Mongolia the first time as a tour leader way back in 1980. Jan has since been a regular professional visitor to Mongolia and he has also managed expeditions throughout the Andes, the Amazon, the Himalayas and the three Guianas. In the winter period he is engaged in ecotourism advisory provision lending himself to communities, the Sami reindeer people of Sweden and other international funding agencies.
